Complement Your Teeth With Fuller Lips

Want fuller, natural-looking lips? At Maplebrook Dental, we offer the most recent Juvéderm Ultra XC product. Not only does our lip filling treatment help your lips to look more full, but it can also fill in the vertical lines around your smile, also known as smoker’s lines.

How Do Lip Fillers Work?

Our lip filler procedure simply involves us injecting your lips with the Juvéderm Ultra CX solution. This solution is made up of hyaluronic acid (HA) and water. When mixed, they create a gel-like material. Once your lips have been injected, the solution will fill in any gaps, creating a fuller, smoother smile.

The solution also contains lidocaine, helping to prevent discomfort from the injection and making a topical anesthetic unnecessary. Typically, you will only feel slight pressure when the mixture is injected into your lips. Your appointment will likely take less than an hour.

Potential Side Effects

Juvéderm Ultra CX is safe to use and trusted by our practice. However, there is potential for some mild side effects after the procedure. They generally last no longer than a week.

Side effects can include:

  • Redness
  • Swelling
  • Tenderness
  • Firmness
  • Lumps
  • Skin discolouration
  • Bruising

If you are allergic to either hyaluronic acid or lidocaine, you should not use Juvéderm Ultra CX products.
