Bring Your Smile to Life

Veneers are a natural-looking way to brighten a smile with cracked, chipped, or discoloured teeth. We want you to feel great about the way your teeth look and feel. Let us give you a new reason to smile with veneers.

What To Expect

At Maplebrook Dental, we use porcelain veneers as they are strong and do not change in colour or stain over time. In addition to covering cracks or chips in your teeth, veneers can also cover gaps for a more even smile.

During your appointment, we will first remove a thin layer of enamel from the teeth in question and create an accurate mould to create your veneer. We will provide you with temporary veneers to wear until your customized ones are ready.

In your second appointment, it’s time to apply your permanent veneer. We will bond an ultra-thin laminate of porcelain to the front of your tooth, covering the previously visible damage or discolouration.

Are Veneers Right for You?

Veneers are a great way to make your teeth look natural, covering minor damage that may have happened over time. However, veneers aren’t right for every person or every tooth.

If your tooth is too damaged, we may recommend that you consider a crown to help make your tooth look natural while protecting it from further damage.

Veneers may not be recommended if you:

  • Suffer from tooth decay or periodontal disease
  • Have little enamel left
  • Are missing too much of a tooth; a crown might be a better option
  • Grind or clench your teeth
